What Do You Think About This?

How do you securely protect your digital downloads? I know that you have to first put them on your server. So, how do you protect against this? I thought about putting passwords on my PDF files. But, what about the audios? For this I thought of using Audio Acrobat

Hi Latrisha. I am glad you asked about protecting your digital downloads. I use WAHMCart for buying and selling of all my info-products and am really glad to share with you why I use WAHMCart. In order for a product to be purchased you must check out through WAHMCart to purchase my guide. That is how my customers’ get the guides. Next to keep it secure on your server – you need to have .htaccess file added to keep unwanted viewers out. I have done several things to help add security to my website – from plugins to hiring WPSecurityLock – to help add additional measures to my websites. For Plugins – XML-Sitemap, pageMash and WordPress Backup and adding the .htaccess file to have my plugins, uploads and themes a little more secure. As for audios – You could use Audio Acrobat if you want – there is so many options. I actually use Amazon S3 to help keep my server files low and that also helps me to keep the links controlled for who I want to see it and for how long, etc.

If you are looking for additional measures for your website I would start with this: http://www.wpsecuritylock.com/ Signup for the 7 plugins – FREE Book.

Then I bought this: http://www.wpsecuritylock.com/products/ 15 Tips that you can use. $14.95

    Then I bought this: http://www.websitesinwp.com/wp-maintenance-guide $17.00

Those 3 guides should help you do what you need to do to help maintain your website and secure your files the best you can.

    Keep asking your questions!
