Squidoo’s RocketMoms – Invite-only for Moms of all shapes & sizes…

Session 3 Graduate - October 2009

I first was introduced to Squidoo and RocketMoms by searching for the term RocketMoms. Through my mastermind group, MomMasterminds, I was told you can earn money on Squidoo. I was like really … um, I wonder if that is something I would enjoy. Sounded interesting at least.

Soon after I found out that RocketMoms started their Session 3 the day before. I still emailed the leader, Bonnie, and asked if I am not able to get into Session 3, can I be put on the wait list for Session 4. She replied and said of course you can be in Session 3, we are just beginning .

The first few went fast and our first project was completed. I created a lens on my favorite childhood toy – matter of fact, I searched and searched on eBay to get this toy for my daughter, check it out here! That was the first lens that I created. Now I have created over 35+ lens and on my way to apply for Giant Squid, as soon as I get 50 GREAT lens. Took me 8 weeks to craft 10 lens and now it seems to be easier since I know what modules I want to use when I think about the theme of my lens and what information I want to include.

I will go into more detail of each module in the future but for now here is a project that you can do… Have you created your first lens? Have you created a lens about your favorite childhood toy?? Have fun! The more pictures you can bring in to the lens to tell your story or what you have to share will add value to it.

I am honored with this lens that I created – because not only am I showcased in this picture but so is my children.

Shout out to all the RocketMoms and especially everyone who is participating in RocketMoms – Session 4. December 22nd is graduation day and I am happy to say I have completed all 6 projects.
