Photos – Creative Commons

Do you take your own photos and use them on your website?

I have taken photos and uploaded them to my website and Squidoo lenses. If you are planning on doing something similar – then I would suggest looking into the following. It was mentioned to me before I published photos on my Squidoo lenses.

You have selected the Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License. You should include a reference to this license on the web page that includes the work in question.

Creative Commons License

Photos by Staci Jansma is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.

Creative Commons License is useful for pictures that you want to place online with restrictions on how the photo can be used. I have used this recently with Squidoo Lenses. Several options are available -so if this is what you are looking for – I would suggest checking it out, Creative Commons.
